 Goal

Power Pivot Project and Tabular Data Modeling have the ability to read data from a wide range of data sources, to carry out in-memory calculations on them and to present the results to Excel, Power View and Reporting Services. 

This module will specifically use DAX formulas in Tabular BI Semantic Models (specific PowerPivot for Excel) and demonstrate step-by-step teaching instructions.

At the end of these two days the participant will be able to import data from various sources in a tabular model and create relationships between the different data sets. Also, the participant will add in a structured manner Measures and/or Calculated Columns to build reports that were  previously impossible and could only be developed by IT specialists. In addition the participant will define KPIs and add them to PivotTable reports  in such a way that the reporting of actuals versus budget is done in an automatic way without any form of maintenance. 

 Prerequisites

 Own Laptop 💻 + external mouse  

Power BI Desktop (see Microsoft's documentation Get Power BI Desktop).

• Download directly, as an executable you download and install on your computer.
